Stockist feature - Cookies Cycles
Cookies cycles is a great bike store in Canberra and is a premium Micro Scooter stockist and service agent. The owner David is a expert in the bicycle industry and carries a great range scooters, with around 50 assorted Micro Scooters on the floor. We asked David a few questions about him and his store and here's what he had to say...
1. Tell us a bit about your store - Cookies Cycles?
Cookies Cycles opened on the 12th September 2015, After working in the bicycle industry for nearly 30 years my children and I decided to open our own store. We wanted to open a store that would cater for the family and we carry a good range off bicycles, skateboards and scooters
2. What's your favourite thing about Micro?
One off the things I like about Micro scooters is that they have a large range catering for the whole family from the toddler to the teenage stake park rider to mum and dad.
3. What's you local tip for where to go?
Canberra has a great network off paths to get around on your scooter, one off my favourite places to ride is around Lake Burley Griffin, you can scoot around next to the water and pass some off Australia's most famous buildings.
4. What's your guilty pleasure?
One off the things I like to do away from the shop is to go on cruises and show off our VW's, we currently have three from the 70's and now that my daughter has her licence it means we can get out together and enjoy the cars.
5. Tell us 3 things you want to tick off your bucket list?
After losing my wife suddenly 2 1/2 years ago I am now raising my kids on my own, the only thing that is on my bucket list at the moment is to see them grow into awesome young adults that would make there mum proud, so far so good.
